Killer Sunsets!
I had the pleasure of staying at San Buenas for nearly 6 months and I was introduced to Lucretia (Lu) Dawson. Let me first explain that Lu is what I refer to as my "go-to" person. She steered me in the right direction for everything I needed. And, introduced me to as many people as she could. Because, when you stay at San Buenas you are not just another vacationer, you become part of a very friendly gathering of people that I like to refer to as my vacation family. I was new to Costa Rica and by myself. But, not for long because as I just mentioned I was introduced to everyone. You can take Aqua Fit classes twice a week, join a weekly game night, and take part in a beach get-together. Lu made sure I was always included in any upcoming dinners or events. Just ask and she will know where and who to go to. The condos are very clean, comfortable, and beautiful with modern decor, ocean view, and killer sunsets. You are not very far from beaches and local shopping but far enough for that serenity. This will forever be my yearly home away from home. Thank you Lu!!!!

Villa Buen Trueno - Amazing infinity pool with beautiful sunsets. Lu the concierge is a Legend. The surrounding area is stunning with loads of great places to eat. Overall, a fantastic place to stay.

Perfect Start!
My husband and I stayed at this beautiful condo twice during our move to the Southern Zone of Costa Rica. Both times we found the place in perfect condition. Clean and inviting. Always a special touch from Lu ( the property manager). Checking in and out was easy and efficient. The Condo is located on the only golf course in this area. We are not golfers, yet enjoyed walking the grounds. Lots of wildlife, birds and fruit trees. The best part of staying here was the neighbors. The community pool is wonderful and often the gathering spot on warm afternoons. We were invited to join people for dinners ( both in the community and at lots of different restaurants in the area). This location is close to lots of beaches, water activities, waterfalls and best of all the great restaurants. This Condo was a perfect place to start our life in Costa Rica. Thanks Lu for making our transition so easy!

Safe, beautiful beach.
We had an amazing eight days at this property, and would definitely come back. The unit itself is lacking nothing, clean and very comfortable, beds and all. It was a great location to make day trips. I always felt safe, and the luxury was bonus. We met some great people in the other units and the staff were just lovely and attended to our every need. The coffee, milk, beer and flowers were a great touch! Lucretia communicated effectively and checked in with us while we were there. The food in the area restaurants were great, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were able to pull ourselves away from the private blue flag beach and do a scuba tour on Cano Island and a jungle tour in Osa/Sierpe. Both amazing. We would definitely return and stay longer.

Outstanding!
We had an outstanding vacation! The road in is a little scary your first trip up and a 4x4 IS A MUST. The house is very private, well stocked, clean, and very comfortable. The pool and views are just the added bonus needed for vacation. We walked through the neighborhood almost daily and we met such nice people. Lu and Donald were available to us throughout our stay and made some great recommendations as to where to eat, where to grocery shop and even scheduled several of our adventures for us. We will be back for sure.

Oh the beautiful nature sounds
WOW how the sounds of nature in February come alive every morning and evening at La Casa Azul. I loved relaxing on the front balcony surrounded by the jungle looking out at the ocean in the distance. A small flock of toucans flew into an adjacent tree each evening. Many other birds and butterflies made their appearance. The Pacific beaches of Playa Ventanas and Playa Pinuela are a short drive down the mountain on a well graveled road. Took a boat from nearby Uvita to Corcovado National Park to take a guided hike in the rain forest. This Costa Rican cabin supported a relaxing time and also provided all the basic essentials required to cook meals and sleep peacefully. Thanks Lucretia.

Nice and Relaxing
This House is must! We stayed here for 3 weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. Lu and Donald were great in getting us anything and everything we asked for. The house is fully equipped, nicely furnished and very comfortable. The pool is nice on those very hot days. The view is stunning and the house is very private. We loved that we had a gate at the entrance of the driveway and always felt safe. We were close to all of the conveniences in Ojochal. Great restaurants, small sodas, and the walks were amazing and filled with wild life. People here are so nice and genuine. We would so do this again, highly recommended!

Nice and relaxing
We stayed at Villa Victoria from the 16th to the 30th of January 2019. The road (about 3 km) to get there is rather unpleasant. By cons, on arrival a jewelry awaits you! The house, in addition to being beautiful, is very well equipped and very comfortable. Located on the heights, it offers a real intimacy and a beautiful view of the environment: mountains, ocean, vegetation. The pool is most enjoyable. Lucretia has always responded very quickly to our requests. We would be happy to return anytime.

Very nice
Our vacation started here at San Buenas. It was most relaxing at the large Pool where on any given day at 4ish everyone there gathered for happy hour and discussed their adventures of the day. We were invited to cook outs, dinners out and even played cards a few nights with neighbors. The condo was spacious, fully stocked, clean, comfy, and the views outstanding. The condo came with golf included for free. We played golf almost daily. The course is only a nine hole course, but very challenging. Kenny the greenskeeper made a special deal with us on the cart fees because we stayed a month. The vibe here is totally relaxed and fun. The book provided to us upon check in gave us so much information about the area, where to shop, what adventures were available, phone numbers of places to eat, etc... Lu was great in setting up massages for us, making reservations to eat, and hooking us up with adventures. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy, this is it!

Pura Vida
We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to rent La Casa Azul. It's a little piece of paradise lost in the jungle. Every morning you drink coffee surrounded by nature where you can watch birds, butterflies and even monkeys. There is also a lot of things to do around and the location is not too far from Corcovado National Park. Quick note, don't forget to rent a 4WD. Thank you Donald and Lucretia!

Great Location
Probably one of the BEST vacations our group has been on in our last 6 years travelling together. It was a very long travel day for everyone involved. Our group was happy and excited about the house when we checked in. The flowers, fruit, wine, and welcome we received from Lu and Donald made the long day seem to melt away. The house is amazing! Lots of room, great outdoor sitting, wonderful breezes and the pool and the views are stunning. The book at the house with all of the information about everything you could imagine was our nightly read to make plans for the next day. Lu made several of our excursion reservations and even met us one of the days because we got lost. We visited many of the beaches and ate fresh seafood and vegetables daily. Don't miss the Corcavado National Park excursion, you will LOVE IT. I’ll do it again without a doubt.
