The Vacation MVP We Can’t Live Without!
Lu Dawson is the property manager you didn’t know you needed but absolutely can’t live without. This is our second year staying at this amazing property; Villa Buen Trueno in Costa Rica.
Need a question answered? Lu’s on it faster than you can say “Pura Vida.” Something needs fixing? She’s got it handled before you even realize there’s an issue. Not to mention, she’s so friendly and welcoming that you might just want to invite her to dinner—if she weren’t so busy making sure everything is perfect for your stay.
Her attention to detail is next-level, and she makes you feel like you’re her only guest, even though we’re pretty sure she’s juggling a million things at once. Thanks to her, our vacation was smooth sailing and everything we hoped it would be and more!
We’re already counting down to next year’s stay—because with Lu in charge, it’s not just a vacation; it’s an experience. If she’s managing your rental, congrats, you’ve hit the jackpot!

Oh the beautiful nature sounds
WOW how the sounds of nature in February come alive every morning and evening at La Casa Azul. I loved relaxing on the front balcony surrounded by the jungle looking out at the ocean in the distance. A small flock of toucans flew into an adjacent tree each evening. Many other birds and butterflies made their appearance. The Pacific beaches of Playa Ventanas and Playa Pinuela are a short drive down the mountain on a well graveled road. Took a boat from nearby Uvita to Corcovado National Park to take a guided hike in the rain forest. This Costa Rican cabin supported a relaxing time and also provided all the basic essentials required to cook meals and sleep peacefully. Thanks Lucretia.

Legend!
Villa Buen Trueno - Amazing infinity pool with beautiful sunsets. Lu the concierge is a Legend. The surrounding area is stunning with loads of great places to eat. Overall, a fantastic place to stay.

Nice and Relaxing
This House is must! We stayed here for 3 weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. Lu and Donald were great in getting us anything and everything we asked for. The house is fully equipped, nicely furnished and very comfortable. The pool is nice on those very hot days. The view is stunning and the house is very private. We loved that we had a gate at the entrance of the driveway and always felt safe. We were close to all of the conveniences in Ojochal. Great restaurants, small sodas, and the walks were amazing and filled with wild life. People here are so nice and genuine. We would so do this again, highly recommended!
